Hello, my name is William, and I am a retired Military Service Member.
When I retired, I needed to find something to occupy my mind and time or else I would just go crazy(ier).
I had successfully created a software development company and sold that. There was just not enough human interaction involved with that business for me.
I then created a fast-food cart company selling Hotdogs and Sausages. I quite enjoyed that, loved the outdoors with a scenic view but most of all I truly enjoyed meeting new people and seeing return visitors. I did that until I couldn’t manhandle the propane tanks and the setup process. Near the middle of my hotdog cart venture, I was diagnosed with COPD and emphysema of the lungs. I tried to keep going, but in the end, it was too much. I sold my cart to a lovely young couple, and they are running it still today.
Which brings me to now: A little slower pace but still a lot of human interaction for the most part. In my workshop, I handcraft wooden decor for the indoors and outdoors. I also make children’s toys and games. Once or twice a week I head out to local craft fairs/shows to hawk my wares. (I love this part of the process).
Whether it's a custom toy for a child, a decorative bowl for your table, or a game for your backyard, each item is made with care, attention to detail, and a love for the craft.
